Tranquil weather conditions prevailed across central and eastern
Kansas last night. Predawn temperatures were in the 60s, with a
stalled out frontal boundary over the area.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to increase in coverage
today across the region, as an upper level low pressure system
moves slowly northward from the Texas panhandle into western Kansas.
Severe weather chances are low, however some of this activity
could produce heavy rainfall. Daytime highs will range from the
cooler 50s in northern Nebraska, to the warmer low 80s in eastern
Oklahoma.

across the region tonight, as upper level low pressure moves
northward into Nebraska. Overnight lows will range from the cooler
40s in western Nebraska, to the mid 60s in eastern Oklahoma.
